Youth Bank Grant Will Help Club Flix Expand

A recent Youth Bank award of £5000 to buy new cameras and laptops will mean Club Flix can work with more young people across the South West and make more fantastic films.

Club Flix got started with help from Youth Bank three years ago andthis latest funding will help boost filmmaking for young people in the region.  It will also allow us to deliver more workshops and peer mentoring for other youht groups who want to learn more about film and media production.  

Club Flix plans to buy two new cameras, tripods and a laptop with full Final Cut edit suite to enable them to work on more projects at the same time or to work with bigger groups.

Having three dedicated Club Flix cameras will also help Jack to make his epic feature with multi camera capabilitieshe never dreamed possible!!

Club Flix would like to thank Youth Bank and everyone who helped them put together their funding application and look forward to spending their money on shiny new kit!
