Cheque this out!

Four Club Flix members were needed to pick up a cheque from Youth Bank - because it was so big!

The £5000 prize will allow Club Flix to buy two digital video cameras and a laptop edit suite which will be used for filmmaking and workshops run by Club Flix for other young people.

 Steering Group member Jack Crocker said. "this award means a lot to Club Flix as we can now develop more film projects with other youth groups in the local area".  He went on to thank Youth Bank, based at Peasdown Youth Centre: "their support of Club Flix is really important".    

 The Steering Group will meet on Wednesday 25th February to select the film kit they want to buy and hope to start running workshops with groups in Bath and Keynsham by the end of March.
